His first video took David Nail from Tennessee to Chicago and back.

For David Nail's debut video, for his single "I'm About to Come Alive," the plan was to head north to Chicago and shoot scenes that would illustrate the changing of the seasons.  "But the day before we got to Chicago, it snowed nine inches," chuckles David.  He and the crew were able to shoot very little footage in the snowbound Windy City, so they reconvened the following month at a warehouse in Watertown, Tenn., to complete the shooting.  "At first I was a littl nervous," David admits of his first video experience, "but you eventually get used to it."
