Tomorrow, David Nail’s debut album, I’m About to Come Alive hits stores, and all of you should run and go buy it!!! Containing more than just the wildly successful “Red Light,” Nail’s debut album dives into nostalgic love with a depth unfamiliar to many new artists. Although each song is different, Nail weaves each one to the next with his soulful and bluesy voice.

“Mississippi,” the first track on the album, is a sexy southern song, that you find yourself singin along to by the end. It has a natural flow, and I knew I liked it from the first verse…
The title track of the album, “I’m About to Come Alive” is very powerful, and reminds me of Luke Bryan’s “Do I.” This emotion-packed song comes from a man pleading for his woman to not give-up on him…Although, it appears she’s already got one foot out the door.

David has his hand in writing many of the tracks on the album, but he wrote “Missouri” solo. This song is haunting and beautiful. But, my favorite song on the album is “Strangers on a Train.” It speaks volumes about relationships and human nature…How we just can’t help but imagine something different than what we have…

Overall, the album is GREAT! The songs are memorable, well written…David’s voice is strong and unique. I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot more from him for a long time.
