Mercury Nashville recording artist David Nail is releasing his debut album, “I'm About to Come Alive” this week. Nail wrote nearly half the tracks on the disc using experiences from his life. "I think every artist that moves to Nashville has a list of things they hope to achieve, and having a record in stores has always been near the very top for me,” explains Nail in a recent press release. "This has been a two-year process of highs and lows, but now being on the verge of accomplishing that, it feels as sweet as I ever imagined."
David also worked with country spitfire Miranda Lambert on the track "Strangers on a Train." He found the sound, and was backstage at one of Lambert's shows and played it for her. She started singing harmony vocals with him, and they realized the sound was magic. David says that he feels very lucky that she agreed to sing on the record on this track.
