Pittsburgh Daily News: Review of David Nail's "The Sound of a Million Dreams"

David Nail, "The Sound of a Million Dreams" (MCA Nashville) 3 and 1/2 stars

--Having overcome label woes that slowed his career trajectory, David Nail is a rising star on the contemporary country scene. "The Sound of a Million Dreams" is a great showcase for the Missouri native's rocking country sound as he delivers a uniformly strong collection of 11 twang-injected tunes.

Opener "Grandpa's Farm" is my favorite here, and nail's almost as good on "Songs for Sale" (with Lee Ann Womack), "She Rides Away". "Catch You While I can," "That's How I'll Remember You" and "Catherine" with Will Hoge. Nail got a profile boost from singing "God Bless America" during Game 7 of the World Series last month and the sky's the limit from here on out. (JS)
