CMT Offstage interviewed David Nail after his meet up with Lionel Richie this past week.

Lionel Richie was in Nashville last week for some of the Country Radio Seminar adventures. But he was also at CRS last year, which was the first time David Nail had a chance to meet him. And the last time we talked, Nail told me all about how Richie was the ultimate charmer that day. "Holy smokes. That was first time I've ever really seen someone walk into a room and everybody just dropped what they were doing and their mouths went to the floor. It was such a starstruck moment." He said people -- even celebs and other major artists -- were a little uneasy about meeting him. "But then he walks in, dressed immaculately in all black, and he's all smiles. He was so good to everyone.
