Absolutley love David Nail and this cd my favorite song is by far I'm about to come alive the words are so true to my life right now and like everyone says David has an amazing voice so excited for the new cd downloaded the single let it rain and I know just from that song I'm gonna love that cd also, really hope I can see David live in concert.
I'm so sorry that I missed the show at Exit/In. I LOVE the first album and I've got to hear some of the tracks that weren't put out as singles before he hits the big time ( which won't be long). Mississippi, I'm About to Come Alive, Clouds, and especially Strangers On a Train should have been on the radio as much as Red Light and Turning Home. David, please leave these songs in every set, even when you're the headline at BridgeStone.

Gotta say, I fell in love with David for the song, "Red Light." His voice is so plaintive and real it just paints the exquisitely painful experience of being dumped in the middle of a beautiful, ordinary day. Been there and done that. I remember the pain with every note. The song says it all. When we lose a love, we expect the rest of the world to stop and take note of our heartbreak. But no one is listening and no one cares. Red Light says it and I sure do feel it. I will be buying that album and all the rest he puts out. Good luck and God Bless a new rising star.

just found out about David last night at the Grand Ole Opry & instantly fell in love. His music is SO great! You have a fan that will be here forever David!
I am a long time country music fan and this album, what we are able to hear so far, excites me! David's voice is outstanding and I have played all the tracks that I have so far, over and over, but I have to say that "Strangers on a Train" is the outstanding track for me so far! I have played and played it and like it more every time I hear it! Who is the sweet female voice on the track? Love it! Can not wait to buy the cd! Only thing better would be an autographed copy for my collection! How about it, David?
I've never heard the song before, so I can't comment if David's rendition is pale in comparison to the other's guy's. All I know is that what I heard, I like. BTW ... good luck in St. Louis today.
while an excellent treatment for an even more excellent song, it just pales in comparison to the original train recording. it's always gutsy to rerecord someone else's song as your first single, even if it is just an album cut for that other artist. pat monahan is a tough act to follow, and david doesn't quite make it there. david still shows a lot of promise, though, and i like some of the other things i'm hearing.
